Breaking the code is no big news, but the bit about this being commercial I guess is good news to you right? Just think about this, by breaking the code, the single cup coffee maker would no longer be a closed system!

Closed system forces you to drink the coffee that comes with the brand of coffee makers, while most of it are big brands that has great tasting coffee, somehow you still wished for a machine that is able to brew any coffee you like right?

Well, your wish is granted when devices like coffee ducks and perfect pod makers appeared in the market and is accepted by most of the single serve machines companies.

All saved 3 brands are able to use the coffee pods that you make with the help of devices are perfect pod makers. The 3 brands are Nespresso, Keurig and Tassimo. The special nature of their pods make it very difficult to customize and so, for now, nobody is coming out with any devices to do that.
